The conversion of a 10-story tower in Jersey City to a Marriott luxury hotel included the addition of three floors at the top of the existing structure, connecting with a new large 13 story horizontal addition and approximately 240,000 sq. ft. The design of the building was done in BIM using Revit structure for 3D modeling and crush detection. The construction phase was done using IPD (integrated project delivery).
